Silver Meeting held at Saltford Thursday 16th August 2018
Luckily the rain stopped and the sun shone on the 42 ladies who played in the Silver meeting at Saltford.
Congratulations to Amanda Mayne of Saltford winning the Cairns Cup for the second year running with the best gross of 83.
The Jenny Hobbs bridge bowl for best nett player with hcp under 13 went to Sharon Watts also of Saltford with a nett 77.
Fay Galley from Bath won the Janet Winter Salver with the best nett score of 73 and she also won the Dickinson Cup.
Only 3 ladies had 2s receiving 7 balls each: Pauline Young, Gill Brown and Dawn Chadwick.

Cairns Cup for best Gross score
Janet Winter Salver for best Nett score - a player may not win both gross and nett
Jenny Hobbs Trophy best Nett score (Hcps 12 & under)
Dickinson Cup awarded to best Home Qualifier (see attached sheet) and may be awarded in conjunction with any other trophy
Should an entrant increase her handicap to 21 after entering but prior to the event she is no longer eligible to compete in the Silver Open. A Dickinson qualifier may still play for that cup.
