Fowler Brooch Foursomes Stableford 5 April 2019 at Enmore Park Golf Club

I moved the date of the Fowler Brooches into April in the hope of better weather......

The Course was closed after 31mm of overnight rain but the green keepers did excellent work to prepare the course and allow play to commence at 10.30am, only 40 minutes late

72 ladies participated and came in soaked and cold with some good scores despite the rain and wind.

The winning score of 37 points by Shane Bordier and Sara Cox Conklin, Burnham and Berrow, sealed victory for the second year.  With 2 parings from Farrington Park battling for 2nd and 3rd place each with 35 points.

Burnham and Berrow were successful in retaining the Bath Shield.

I would like to thank the staff and lady members for all their assistance in running today’s competition.
