COUNTY JUNIOR ORGANISER
Many of you will be aware that Karen Dennett, our CJO for the last 18 months, has resigned from this position. As President and on behalf of the Committee. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Karen for all her time and effort with our juniors. She gave them guidance, care and huge support. We wish her well for the future with possibly a little more time for her own golf.
The Executive Committee are very anxious to continue the support for the juniors as quickly as possible. To that effect we are delighted to report that Carole Pope, Professional at Isle of Wedmore, has applied for the post.
As Karen's resignation has come earlier than expected, the Committee have co opted Carole onto the Executive with immediate effect as acting CJO and this position will be ratified at the AGM in November.
We are fortunate to have Carole take on this role as she is already known well by the girls and we wish her all success in the future.
