Latest news from CONGU  re Handicaps:

As from 1st January, England Golf are bringing in a requirement that all good away scores from non-qualifying competitive golf need to be reported back to the home club by players.  These can also be scores from pairs and team opens, the exceptions being foursomes, greensomes and Texas scrambles. There will be reports that can be used to inform the home club about these scores but the responsibility will be with the player.

These scores will not directly affect a player's handicap but are to be used by the home club to assist when it comes to a handicap review.

FOWLER BROOCHES  March 27th at Minehead Golf Club.

March and sunshine are just around the corner. Don’t forget to enter the Fowler Brooches (Foursomes with Stableford scoring). You can be assured of a warm welcome and a dry course but I won’t guarantee sunshine as well!

The competitions duo Sandra and Jane hope to see many of you participating.
